Original bookshelf

'target books' shelf by turkish designer Mebrure Oral

This shelf  is designed to keep books organized  by separating them into sections of 'already read' and 'yet to read'. each segment is demarcated  by its own bookend, a line of text that is built into the shelf that states either 'has been read' or 'will be read'.

I think that is a very good way of organization, although the capacity for books is reduced, but it adds an original touch to your living room.

Each 'target books' shelf is produced in three pieces via injection molding of recyclable ABS plastic.

Brand Memory Game

A little mermaid?A purple cow? most people today can identify more brands and logos than birds or tree species so,  how many brands do you recognize?

Hendrik-Jan Grievink has designed a new game about the knowledge of brands for BIS publishers

the 'brand memory game' is made up of a selection of 30 internationally well-known brands,
showing neither logo nor name on the images of the matching pairs.

The challenge is to find matching pairs of a brand, based solely on their characteristic colours and
style elements and a short clues as to the name of the brand.  I think it's quite interesting and original game, even if you aren't a designer.

Merry Xmas!!

Hello, I'm back after a long time without writing here, but I didn't have time because of work issues. I wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, with a lot of new ideas for the designers of course!!
